Through August-September 2023 seven fellows from the UK will support the British Pavilion at the Venice Biennale while running a research project. I will be representing the Crafts Council, researching Venice’s entangled relationships with nature vs culture and it’s long history of collaborating with the shifts earth throws at it; from Giardini grounds, to lagoon algae and the natural pigments that came through these waters.
